Cape Cod Biochemical Company is the premier manufacturer of biological waste treatments in the U.S. located in Pocasset, Massachusetts, we have been producing highly effective, environmentally safe, USDA approved products for residential, commercial, and institutional septic systems, sewer & drain lines, and grease traps since 1955.

Until Cape Cod Biochemical Company came along, purveyors of septic system additives set themselves up as the contractors' competition, or even as their enemies. We chose instead to make contractors our business partners. This approach has served the industry and the company well. While the competition was marketing direct to homeowners by advertising that using their products would allow homeowners to forego pumping, Cape Cod Biochemical Company was doing the opposite. We decided to educate customers about how to maintain their septic systems and the need for our products in addition to the most critical component, which is periodic pumping of their septic system. This approach was and has been mutually beneficial.

Cape Cod Biochemical Company has become known for our 40-year commitment to the septic industry, and especially to customer education. Our customer education brochure “What Everyone Should Know About Septic Tank Systems” is the industry standard.

Our products are all USDA approved, state-of-the-art formulations to treat the applications that technicians in the trades encounter every working day. The products contain micro-organisms type specific to the particular waste being treated.
